리틀팍스어학원의 Book Club

세계 유명 영어 동화, 소설 등 엄선된
2,000종 이상의 영어 원서로 구성된 학원 내 도서관
책을 읽고 난 후 내용의 이해를 점검하는 퀴즈 수록
학생들이 책을 마음껏 빌려 보고 다독의 습관을 지닐 수 있도록 유도

Book Club 진행 순서

1. 나의 목표 설정하기: 리틀팍스어학원 홈페이지에서 나만의
‘이달의 목표’를 미리 설정할 수 있어요.
처음 온 친구들은 담임선생님의 지도에
따라 이번 달 나의 독서목표를 설정합
니다.

2. 책 고르기: 홈페이지에서 센터 도서관에 있는 책을 미리 살펴보고
대여 할 책을 선정할 수 있어요.
‘대여하기’를 눌러 보고싶은 책을 골라 보세요.; 센터 도서관에서 직접 둘러보고 책을 고를 수 있습니다.
나의 수업에 맞는 레벨가이드에 따라 책을 찾아 보세요.
혼자 어렵다면 선생님의 도움을 받을 수 있습니다.

3. 책 대여하기: 홈페이지로 미리 책을 고른 후에는
수업일에 미리 ‘대여하기’로 선정한
책을 찾아갑니다. 도서관에서 직접
사서선생님께 대여 신청을 하세요.
책은 일주일에 3권 까지 빌릴 수
있어요.
빌린 책은 일주일 내에 읽고 반납
하도록 합니다.

4. 책을 읽어볼까요: 대여한 책은 모든 친구들이 같이 보는 책이니 소중히 다루어
주세요.
책을 읽을 때는 소리를 내어 읽도록 하고 한 글자씩 해석
하려고 하지 말고 문장의 흐름을 파악하면서 읽도록 합니다.; 모르는 단어가 나오더라도 당황하지 마세요.
문장 속 흐름을 따라가면 충분히 의미를 이해 할 수 있고,
이렇게 익힌 단어는 장기기억 속에 보존 되어 잘 잊어버리지
않게 됩니다.
하지만 모르는 단어가 나오면 꼭 다시 한번 사전에서 정확한
뜻을 확인하고, 철자를 따라 써보는 것도 잊지 말도록 합니다.

5. Quiz 풀기: 책을 재미있게 읽었다면 이제 Comprehension Quiz를
풀어 보도록 합니다.
Comprehension Quiz 는 내가 읽은 책의 내용 을 잘
이해하고 있는지 확인 할 수도 있고, Quiz로 되어있어
재미있게 풀 수 있습니다.; Comprehension Quiz 는 리틀팍스어학원 홈페이지에
접속해서 나의 정보로 로그인한 후 ‘나의 학습방’에서
풀 수 있습니다.
읽은 책에 대해 반 친구들과 이야기를 나누는 재미도
놓치지 마세요.

6. 상을 받아요: 처음에 세웠던 ‘나의 목표’를 달성하면
상장과 뱃지를 받을 수 있습니다.
책도 보고 상도 받고~
내가 좋아하는 캐릭터의 뱃지도 모아보세요.

7. 읽은 책 반납하기: 책을 읽고 Quiz 까지 풀었다면 이제 다른
친구들도 볼 수 있도록 빨리 반납해 주세요.
그 책을 기다리는 친구들이 있다는 것 기억
해주세요.; 수업이 있는 날에 잊지 않고 잘 챙겨서
도서관에 반납해 주세요.
읽은 책은 반납하고, 새로운 책을 빌려 가는
것도 잊지 마세요!
